We've worked on RNLI lifeboats for more than 25 years but this was our first time working on the new class, the Tamar 47. Mark Mason is based in Pembrokeshire and sustained damage during an emergency call out. This type of lifeboat is extremely high tech and is worth £3million. The nature of their work means that we have to complete work fast.
RNLI Head of Construction and Refit, Angus Watson, said: "It's vital that our lifeboats receive first class treatment to tight deadlines and on budget and this is exactly what Jonathan and his team does."
