Come down and watch our team of staff and friends hoping for a win at the Dragon boat race, during this year's Falmouth Week.
When: Sunday 18th August. Racing starts at 10am.
The boat: A Dragon boat is a large canoe-like vessel. The bow and stern have been fitted with ornately carved dragon’s head and tail.
The crew: 16 people sat in pairs, 1 drummer beating time and a professional helms-person in the stern to guide the boat.
The course: Multiple timed races over distances of 250m.
Location: Best viewing location is Events Square next to the National Maritime Museum.
